Can't get app to work for iPod Touch 1st gen

Hello, I can't get the app relativepitch or relativepitchlite working for my iPod Touch first gen. I am running iOS 3.1.3 and whenever i run either application it comes up with an image saying relative pitch with the logo. It stays like this for a few seconds and then goes back to the home screen. Can anyone give me ideas to how I can get this application to work? Thanks

I'm afraid this is a general problem with the latest version of the apps and iOS 3.1 devices. We've submitted a fix to Apple and it should be available to you through the App Store in the next day or two.
